We're Opening Our Second Engineering Hub in Lisbon

Today we're announcing the opening of our second global engineering hub, located in the heart of Lisbon, Portugal. This is a significant milestone in our journey to build a world-class product organization that can serve customers across every time zone.

Why Lisbon

We evaluated dozens of cities over an 18-month process that considered engineering talent density, quality of life for employees, proximity to European customers, and the overall business environment. Lisbon checked every box. The city has emerged as one of Europe's strongest technology hubs, with a thriving startup ecosystem, strong universities producing excellent engineering graduates, and a culture that aligns with our values of collaboration and craftsmanship.

The Lisbon team will be a full-stack engineering organization — not a satellite office executing decisions made elsewhere. Our Lisbon engineers will own entire product domains, lead architectural decisions, and have the same access to leadership and opportunity as our engineers anywhere in the world.
